WHITE WATER RAFTING
It's time to prepare for another white water adventure! Our 40 spaces will go fast so you want to sign up as quickly as possible. Deadline for registration is Sunday, July 11, but you don't want to wait that long!
FAQs
When? August 13-15
Where? The New River - near Bradley & Beckley, West Virginia.
Where will we stay? Appalachian Bible College (for more info click here)
Who can go? 7th-12 grade guys and girls and PARENTS!
How will we get there? Bus and church vans
How much will it cost? $110/person for Upper New River (Class I-III Rapids, 12 year olds and parents) and $120/person for Lower New River (Class I-V Rapids, 13 year olds and parents) $50 deposit with sign up and balance due July 11
How risky will it be? There are always risks involved in white water rafting. We have chosen to partner with Alpine Ministries (since 1994) because they give us great instructions, great coaching and great guides with great big hearts for Jesus. We trust these folks because they've earned it.
How do I sign up? Register here. A $50 deposit is required when you register and the balance will be due on July 11. We'll need your medical release form then as well.
OTHER INFO TO REMEMBER:
Remember to arrive in the church parking lot no later than 5:00 PM on Friday. We'll load our stuff on the bus and vans, call roll and depart.
Remember to eat supper before you arrive at church. We'll stop somewhere on the way, but it may be 7PM or so.

Remember that we plan to arrive back in Apex between 4 & 5 PM on Sunday afternoon.
Remember that the camp phone number for emergencies is 800-806-2180. My (Chuck's) cell phone number is 919-602-5677, but I can't guarantee that I'll always be able to receive it.
Remember that you can't get on the bus or van without your release forms.
Remember that all of our guys will stay in the male dormitory and the girls in the female dormitory.

MEDICAL RELEASE FORMS
We need to have your medical release forms as soon as possible after you sign up for the trip. Download and fill out the forms and then mail, drop-off, or fax your forms to the church office.
For Students we must have both the Alpine Ministries release form and the ABC release form. For Parents we need the Alpine release form.
